The club gifted eco-brick bench to Government Secondary school Majitar

Project-E- environment Inner Wheel Club of Gangtok has been working tirelessly to contribute towards saving the environment on its own ways. Making eco- bricks-bench has been one of the successful initiatives taken by the club. The club gifted eco-brick bench to Government Secondary school Majitar, to mark the occasion of World Environment Day which was much appreciated by the school’s Head Mistress, staff and students.
The program was attended by Nagar Panchayat President Mr Sanjeev Kumar Khati , Councillor, the Inner Wheel Club DIstrict Chairman of District 324 Maam Mrs Amita Mundra , club secretary Mrs Sunita Sirohia and other members, Headmistress of the school, staff and students.

Inner Wheel Club would like to thank The Oviya Art Circle Sikkim, for lending their hands on beautifying the project with their beautiful paintings.

5th June is celebrated as World Environment Day. The club conducted painting competition for the students there. Students participated actively and the competition was judged by the members of Oviya Art Circle. The Inner Wheel Club presented the winners with trophy and gifts .
