Cataract Surgery for the Underprivileged in association with Siliguri Greater Lions Eye Hospital

Cataract Surgery was conducted for 11 old age male and female underprivileged people who were suffering from poor vision due to cataract problems.
Our club members sponsored these 11 surgeries at the Lions Eye Hospital where they conduct these surgeries at a minimal costand made it possible to improve their vision. These 11 old patients were very happy and satisfied and gave us their blessings as poor eyesight is a hindrance to them in their daily activities and makes them feel lonely, but after surgery these old people can live a much better life
We also distributed Glucon D bottles and fruits to the beneficiaries to overcome weakness post surgery.
