Project Description: It was a great moment for the midtown family as we installed the first cloth bag vending machine in Siliguri. The message we are going to spread through this project is that say NO TO PLASTIC. The whole program was very well organized and the inauguration was done by our honorable mayor Shri Gautam Deb Ji. The installation of the machine has been done at Kalibari at Mahabir, which is a very busy area surrounded by a market. The project was done in this area keeping in mind the footfall of the general public to create awareness about the harmful effects of plastic. The mayor Gautam Deb Ji was very happy and appreciated the initiative taken by midtown. We are planning to install more of such machines in different areas of town to spread the message SAY NO TO PLASTIC as much as possible.
