A cloud burst over Lhonak Lake in North Sikkim resulted in a flash flood in Teesta River. Many people became homeless, many people were missing, many lost their loved ones, and more than ,3000 tourists were stranded.In this critical situation we Inner wheel sisters along with (Goonj Foundation) extended our helping hands for the people of Sikkim and do the needful ,We collected blankets , ration , clothes ,medical support and other necessary items, By helping them we think to make a tangible difference in the lives of flood affected survivors in east Sikkim.
