Members of IWC Shillong visited Half Way Home, a centre for the mentally challenged and gifted the inmates a colour TV set in the presence of the Assistant Director Socill Welfare Department of Meghalaya
Club secretary Kamla Varma sponsored 20 numbers of snack boxes to be distributed to the inmates of the home along with household items donated by our member Anju Sabherwal

The ecstasy and joy seen on the faces of the recipients when they saw the TV set being mounted on the wall was heartening

Hopefully we shall be doing more for these unfortunate women by distributing clothes, rations etc in the coming times
