Donation of Wheelchair and Walker

With a mission to *Shine a Light*, IWC Shillong adopted the Bethany Society, which is an
institute for the visually challenged 300+ students. A wheel chair and a walker were donated to
this institute for the comfort of the inmates. Members spent the evening with the inmates who
performed songs and dances, and displayed their skills on musical instruments. Distribution of
chocolates and juice packs added smiles on their faces.
The club aims to cater to the requirements of the inmates of Bethany Society and means to spend
festive occasions with them and also organise fun events to add cheer to their lives. District
Chairman Smt Geeta Sarin was a part of today’s Project.
