VERTICALS of W-Women senior citizens care.
We members of IWC Dibrugarh today arranged for a health camp for old ladies in an old age home namely ‘Asha Vridhyashram ‘ in Dibrugarh .
Total 10 ladies have been benefited. Doctors who offer their services are Dr Indira Neog an eye specialist,Dr Swapna Saikia,Dermatologist,myself Dr Malavika Saikia ,Pathologist. Thorough eye check done,glasses and medicines being prescribed. Those with skin ailments were also given medicinal prescriptions.Blood pressure checked and Random blood sugar checked for everyone and necessary advice given. Then we provided them with Iron tonics,supplements,calcium supplements,vitamin syrups,skin ointments for free. Happiness,contentment and smiles on ladies’ faces made our day and filled us with new encouragement to do more for them and society.
