IWC Durgapur decided to celebrate Diwali by lighting up 19 homes in a slum area in Durgapur. The place has no electricity and darkness was the biggest problem for the families, students , girls, pregnant ladies , elders residing there. With our project we literally brought ROSHANI to them keeping in mind environmental benefits of solar lights. The project was inaugurated by a local Councillor

We have also planned to install fans run by solar power in these houses in the month of Feb 22.
