7 months back on Independence Day, club started the vocational learning on tailoring for the mothers of the students studying in Pranava nanda shishu niketan school. We hired a teacher skilled in tailoring and installed 2 sewing machine for their practice. 14 mothers registered themselves.
On 2nd March, club provided them with the same print cloth and they were asked to cut, stitch and wear to test how much they have learnt. It was a treat to the eyes watching them doing it successfully.
Today on International women’s day, the club feels proud to announce that all the 14 mothers are skilled and are ready to stand on their feet to support their family financially.
