The birthday of Netaji subash Chandra Basu was observed on the 23rd of January. Members of IWC Silchar garlanded the statue of Netaji at Rangirkhary point and paid respect to the nation leader. Cloth bags were also distributed amongst the public to create an awareness on “Ban plastic “and the response was equally good.
