Project Details – Women will be empowered when they get a platform to show their telant.
Without exposer or a helping hand they can’t grow. Inner wheel club of Duliajan together
with Rotary club observed Republic day at Rotary community centre.Rotary President
unfurled the flag and gave a speech followed by an inspiring speech by Inner wheel
President Bulbul Adhyapak.After the initial formalities children were given colours, pencils
etc for a painting competition.
To encourage women entrepreneurship Inner wheel club organised an exhibition cum sell
for needle thread artist Snigdha Chaya.The President and the members also felicitated
Ananya Borgohain a successful Assam civil service candidate with our branded writing pad
phulam gamosa and a pen giving recognition to women empowerment.Our club also
organised media coverage for the event.
Prizes were handed out to children who took part in the painting competition followed by a
round of tambola.Sumptuous lunch was served to all present.
