Project Description : Club started vocational literacy on stitching in the school for the mothers of the students .
14 mothers had registered themselves.
We had hired a teacher to train them.
We had installed 2 sewing machines for them to learn and practice.
When they were little confident, club gave them fabric and asked them to stitch which was like a test to check how much they had learnt. They all could do it.
As we had promised that if they learn it sincerely, club will sponsor sewing machine to all of them.
Finally we have given sewing machines to all the 14 mothers.
Our club feels good that their effort and support could empower at least 14 mothers with a skill and have also provided the source to use the skill to earn and become financially independent to be able to provide better living to their families.
