Name – Stella Tamang 21/F
Stella lives in small village of hills, she left her home when she was only 14 years old because of her step father. Then she got into bad company and started taking drugs. She could not effort money to buy drugs for which she became flying sex worker. She was torched by the head and the customer badly. She got addicted more to drugs and alcohol which was affecting her physical and mental health.
One day Police rescued her and send her here in ARISE for shelter and care.
Therefore, we provided her shelter and care as well as counseling.
After many counseling she is now able to understand her condition but she doesn’t wants to go back to her home town because she is scared of the society that they will not accept her. But we are continuously providing her counseling and now she wants to change her life and start a fresh life. she wants to do Hotel Management so that she can earn for herself in better way and go back to her home without fear of society.

We hope our small effort from our side would help Stella to regain confidence and make her financially independent to live a happy life.
